🚀 XRP Futures ETFs Debut on Nasdaq Amidst Ripple-SEC Case! 💥
New #XRP futures ETFs just launched on Nasdaq! Volatility Shares debuted the Volatility Shares Trust XRP ETF (XRPI) and the Volatility Shares Trust XRP 2X ETF (XRPT) on May 22nd. XRPI opened at $15.88 and closed at $15.81, while the leveraged XRPT opened at $15.46 and closed at $15.41.
These join Teucrium Investment Advisors' 2x XRP futures ETF (XXRP), which launched back on April 8th and was trading at $36.80 on May 22nd.
The influx of XRP futures ETFs is sparking optimism for the eventual approval of #XRP spot ETFs, though the SEC is yet to act on those applications. Meanwhile, the long-standing #Ripple-SEC legal case hit a snag recently with the court denying their joint settlement motion on May 15th.
Despite the legal meandering, XRP remains a major player with a $142 billion market cap, currently ranking as the fourth-largest crypto.
