1) Rapid increase in domestic cryptocurrency investors:

As of the end of 2024, the total number of investors in South Korea's five major exchanges (Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and GOPAX) reached 9,667,023, a 52.6% increase from the previous year.

2) Increasing proportion of older investors:

Among all investors:

• The number of people in their 50s is 1.75 million, a year-on-year increase of 56.4%.

• 636,700 people aged 60 and over, an increase of 52.6%
