Bitcoin is the fifth largest global asset despite slight decline
Despite Bitcoin's decline to around $110,500, its market value has risen to over $2.2 trillion, making it the fifth largest asset in terms of market capitalization globally, surpassing major companies like Amazon and Alphabet, but still behind Apple and gold.
Notable rise in alternative currencies
Alternative currencies have seen significant gains; the price of Ethereum rose by 5% to exceed $2,650, and Ripple by 3.8% to over $2.4.
Binance Coin also increased by 5% to surpass $680.
Currencies like SOL, DOGE, ADA, SUI, LINK, AVAX, and SHIB have also recorded strong gains.
As for HYPE, it exhibited remarkable performance with a rise of 19%, surpassing the $31 mark.
With this momentum, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies rose by over $120 billion, reaching more than $3.6 trillion, according to CoinGecko
