Ledger Launches Solana-Branded Non-Custodial Wallet with Built-In Soulbound Token
Ledger, the leading hardware wallet manufacturer, has introduced a special edition of its flagship Ledger Flex device—this time designed specifically for the Solana ecosystem.
Unveiled at the Solana Accelerate conference in New York, the new Solana-branded Flex wallet features Ledger’s signature touchscreen design and security, along with a preloaded soulbound token that could unlock future rewards and experiences for holders.
The Flex series, first launched in mid-2024 as part of Ledger’s 10th anniversary, previously included a Bitcoin-branded model supporting BTC-centric initiatives. Now, with this Solana edition, Ledger spotlights the network’s strong comeback after the FTX collapse and growing popularity driven by user-focused apps.
> “We’re excited to see Solana get a device tailored for its community, with the security and design Ledger is known for,” said Dan Albert, Executive Director of the Solana Foundation. “The Soulbound Token isn’t just ownership—it’s access to future opportunities across Solana.”
Like all Ledger devices, the Solana Flex wallet supports multiple blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon. But it also comes with enhanced support for Solana-native features, such as secure storage of SPL tokens and seamless management of assets within the Solana ecosystem.
> “As Solana keeps growing at an incredible pace, driven by its passionate community, security must remain a priority,” said Ian Rogers, Ledger’s Chief Experience Officer.
With its sleek green-and-purple design, the Solana Flex wallet bridges premium hardware with blockchain-native perks—making it more than just a cold wallet, but a gateway to the Solana future.
