HELP SOLVE THIS RIDDLE…:👇🏽
I am a brilliant scientist and I invented a biome. I created the conditions in that biome to support life and be habitable. Then I randomly placed a family (father, mother & children) in the biome, not because they asked but just because I could.
Then I deliberately placed a giant red button in the middle of the biome and specifically warned the family not to touch the red button; then I gave them a vague reason as the consequence for pressing the button.
One day for some reason, the family while wandering around pressed the button and consequently chaos was unleashed; de-oxygenation was initiated, the biome began falling apart. And the family started gasping for air and struggling to stay alive.
But as the inventor of the entire set up, I have a few options; I could rescue the family from the biome, I could inject the biome with fresh supply of oxygen, I could drop oxygen mask or tank , I could also create a buffer within the biome, etc but I chose none of those options. Instead I waited, and waited and continued to wait and watched as the family struggled to stay alive, because I needed them to acknowledge me as the great scientist and the benevolent inventor that I am.
Who is really to blame here? What other options did I really have? Have I or have I not given them Freewill to choose the outcome of this whole saga, or have I deliberately created the exact situation where the family was always at risk either way, helpless and must acknowledge my greatness? Which other possible outcomes are there in this entire story?
