Members voted to increase tariffs on fertilizers and some agricultural products that are still imported from Russia and Belarus to Europe by 50%, despite farmers' concerns about a sharp rise in prices.

The EU aims to continue increasing tariffs on Russian and Belarusian fertilizers to completely stop imports within three years.
