Foresight News reports that BNB Chain has announced the launch of the Maxwell hard fork. This upgrade will reduce the block time on BSC to 0.75 seconds, with the testnet hard fork scheduled for May 26, 2025, and the mainnet hard fork scheduled for June 30, 2025. Node operators should upgrade their software before the testnet hard fork on May 26 to begin testing infrastructure compatibility.
