Bitcoin is at an All-Time High — So Why Aren’t Altcoins Pumping Yet?

Bitcoin is making headlines with new highs, but the altcoin market still looks quiet. Here’s why:

1. Rising Bitcoin Dominance

Investors are pouring more money into BTC than the rest of the market. When Bitcoin dominance increases, altcoins usually get sidelined.

2. Too Many Altcoins, Not Enough Demand

With thousands of altcoins—many offering similar use cases—capital gets diluted. It’s harder for individual projects to gain real traction.

3. Ethereum Isn’t Leading the Charge Yet

The ETH/BTC ratio is still weak. Historically, altcoin rallies begin when Ethereum starts outperforming Bitcoin. That hasn’t happened yet.

4. Altseason Comes After Bitcoin Cools Down

Altcoins typically move after Bitcoin finishes its big run or starts consolidating. Right now, all eyes are still on BTC.
