Honestly, $BTC is on fire right now — but when I look at my altcoin bags… it's just crickets. Did some digging, and here’s why I think altcoins aren’t moving (yet):
1. Bitcoin dominance is climbing
Everyone’s piling into Bitcoin. When dominance goes up, altcoins usually get ignored. BTC is the first stop for most investors, especially in early bull cycles.
2. There’s an altcoin overload
Let’s be real — there are thousands of altcoins out there, and most are doing the same thing. It spreads the capital too thin, so no single alt can build strong momentum.
3. Ethereum hasn’t started leading yet
The ETH/BTC ratio is still weak. Historically, altcoins only start flying when $ETH starts outperforming BTC. Until then, alts just chill.
4. Altseason comes *after* Bitcoin chills
Altcoins usually pump after Bitcoin finishes its run or starts consolidating. Right now, BTC is still the main show. The altcoin party comes later — just gotta wait a bit.
