The U.S. SEC has confirmed the receipt of BlackRock's application to modify its spot Ethereum ETF.
BlackRock seeks to modify the ETF to allow for creation and redemption in kind.
The SEC may extend its decision up to 240 days from the date of application.
The U.S. SEC has acknowledged BlackRock's request for an Ethereum ETF with a creation and redemption process in kind. For now, the securities regulator has opened the door to public consultation on BlackRock's amendments.
