Recently, ChatGPT launched the programming agent Codex, a cloud-based software engineering agent capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Unlike the original Codex model released in 2021, the new Codex is powered by codex-1, which is an optimized version of OpenAI's o3 model for software engineering.
