Ethereum co-founder, Jeffrey Wilcke, has just transferred 105,736 ETH ~ $262M to the Kraken exchange wallet.
Wilcke has stopped participating in Ethereum development since 2019. And this is the first time he has moved such a large amount of ETH after many years of "hibernation".
From 2016 until now, Jeffrey Wilcke has quietly transferred 394,000 ETH to Kraken, with an average selling price of ~$1,295, totaling about $510M. Currently, Wilcke's wallet only holds 268 ETH, almost confirming that he has sold nearly all of his accumulated ETH after nearly a decade.
Previously, after the Bybit hack, the market took 3 months to absorb $1.5 billion in ETH from the hacker. Now, it's the turn of the ETH from the former founder...
