Co-founder of Ethereum, Jeffrey Wilcke, has just transferred 105,736 $ETH ~ $262M to his Kraken exchange wallet.
Former Co-Founder Wilcke has not participated in the development of Ethereum since 2019. And this is the first time he has moved such a large amount of ETH after many years of "hibernation".
From 2016 to now, Jeffrey Wilcke has quietly transferred 394,000 ETH to Kraken, with an average selling price of ~$1,295, bringing in about $510M. Currently, Wilcke's wallet only has 268 ETH left, nearly confirming that he has sold off almost all of his accumulated ETH after nearly a decade.
Previously, after the Bybit hack, the market took 3 months to digest $1.5 billion in ETH from the hacker.
