Today I encountered a very basic question: What is slippage? I don't understand how slippage can reduce the cost of brushing points.
A plain and simple explanation is that you accept a price fluctuation range within which you can buy at the original price. For example, 100 u:
🟢 1% slippage means the transaction price is 100 ± 1, resulting in a final purchase price between $99 and $101.
🟢 0.1% slippage means the transaction price is 100 ± 0.1, resulting in a final purchase price between $99.9 and $100.1.
The resulting issue arises from the amount of liquidity; some have deep liquidity, while others have shallow liquidity, leading to unsuccessful transactions.
Once there is insufficient available liquidity, it can lead to orders being placed but not executed, or directly result in transaction failure.
This reduction in slippage is applicable to highly liquid Meme assets, while those with low liquidity have a high probability of not being executed.
SIREN Activity Demonstration
Let's take the recently popular SIREN as an example.
$SIREN airdrop news is everywhere, and interactions can earn about $100 in rewards. During our demonstration, we can clearly see the process and easily brush up on rewards. Killing two birds with one stone, isn't it great!
Participation requirements
Activity time: From now until May 26, 2025, 20:00 (JST).
Results announcement: June 1, 2025, check if you have received the airdrop.
Task requirements: Buy $200 $SIREN on PancakeSwap (you can sell directly after buying, with a loss of less than $0.5).
Reward: 50,000 $SIREN, randomly selecting 500 users, each receiving $100 $SIREN.
Activity entrance: BNB Chain official activity page, select the SIREN activity https://dappbay.bnbchain.org/campaign
Participation steps
First, enter the activity page: https://dappbay.bnbchain.org/campaign/388--trade-to-win-a-share-of-50-000-siren
After entering the interface, click Trader $200 SIREN on PancakeSwap, then connect your Binance Wallet. After successfully logging in, click Trader $200 SIREN on PancakeSwap again to be redirected to the PancakeSwap interface.
Then find the settings in the interface to configure trade slippage, transaction speed, deadline, and other trading functions.
Find the slippage limit and adjust it to 0.1%, leaving all other settings as default, and after setting, click × to close.
Then enter the amount to exchange in the exchange box; the current displayed price is the estimated price, which is related to the liquidity pool used in the Swap route. Therefore, there may sometimes be a significant price difference. If the current price is too high, you can come back later to exchange, as this directly relates to liquidity.
Of course, the condition is that you need at least $200 to perform the Swap transaction, so if you are exchanging BNB, it should be about 0.31 in quantity, or for USDT, it should be around $220 for exchange.
After a successful transaction, sell again, and after a few rounds of Swap, the wear and tear is about $2.
Once completed, you will be eligible for the airdrop. Since the activity period is relatively long, check your wallet on June 1st to see if you have received the $100 $SIREN airdrop, which will be directly credited to the corresponding interaction wallet address.
Finally
That's all for this issue. The reason we chose to demonstrate with $SIREN is clear: there is an airdrop reward.
Moreover, the opinion of SIREN bloggers tends to be optimistic. $SIREN is the first AI Agent project deployed on the BNB Chain and is one of the earliest selected assets in Binance's Alpha program. It has not only received official liquidity and institutional support but also possesses the potential to become the leader in AI on the BNB Chain due to its technological innovation and ecological resources.
Currently, there are many potential benefits for SIREN, and core features are under development, which is a significant advantage for holders in the later stages. Therefore, for optimistic research, SIREN is a good asset to hold.
