I feel that @Somnia_Network's biggest problem is that everyone thinks the 270 million USD funding is fake 😂. Then at the end of December last year during the dev testing, the network lagged terribly, tasks could be skipped, and everyone felt even more that this was a skin-deep product.

In fact, Somnia's background is quite impressive. The company behind it, Improbable, is highly favored by VCs, having raised 866 million USD over 7 rounds, with a16z investing multiple times.

Among these, the round in April 2022 for 150 million USD was specifically for M² to create a metaverse creation engine. One of the interoperable metaverses on the M² network, Otherside, was co-created by the Bored Ape's Yuga Labs and Improbable.

Then in February this year, Improbable and M² jointly invested in Somnia, indeed mentioning the 270 million, anyway, these three are actually one company, regardless of the final amount, they just have money. Furthermore, Somnia's founder @0xPaulThomas was the Vice President of Improbable until April 2024, which is why he was able to independently create this L1. They are now gathering the full strength of the company to work on Somnia.

Many people are not participating in Somnia, or look down upon it. One reason is that they were deterred by the poor experience of the dev back in December last year and the huge amount of addresses, and the second is that since March 16th, the tasks released on the testnet have been about Twitter followers, which don’t seem like proper tasks.

Also, now the tasks are only worth a few points, whereas previously just following a Twitter account was over 200 points; who can handle that?

If you ask me if it's too late to get in now, I don't know. Look at my third picture, I even thought that after May 5th, the official would prepare for the TGE... However, it seems that there are still tasks coming, and if there are still high-scoring tasks, then go ahead; if not, don’t become cannon fodder. Some people say the address shows 100 million, but really, how could there be that much...
