Metaplanet Inc, a public company that owns a bitcoin treasury and is based in Japan, announced the acquisition of an additional 1,004 bitcoins, increasing its total assets to 7,800 BTC.

The latest purchase was made at an average price of 15,134,304 yen per bitcoin, totaling an investment of approximately 15.195 billion yen.

The company reported a BTC yield of 41.7% for the period from July 1 to September 30, 2024, and an impressive 309.8% for the subsequent quarter. Metaplanet Inc. continues to leverage its bitcoin treasury operations to enhance shareholder value, focusing on increasing its bitcoin assets while minimizing the dilution effect.
