GENIUS act : This is a big first step towards passage of the GENIUS Act, and sixteen Democrats ended up changing their vote to support the bill. Final cloture vote tally: 66-32. The legislation will now move to the debate and amendment process on the Senate floor, which will begin tomorrow night or Wednesday with a vote on the motion to proceed.
