On Monday, "JP Morgan" announced that it allows its clients to purchase Bitcoin, despite CEO "Jamie Dimon", who has been one of the most vocal opponents of adopting cryptocurrency, remaining skeptical.

"Dimon" said in his speech during the bank's annual investor day on Monday: "We will allow you to buy it, but we will not hold it, and we will include it in customer statements".

This decision represents a significant step for the largest American bank, especially since "Dimon" has a long history of criticizing cryptocurrencies and warning of their dangers.

"Dimon" clarified that his personal view on Bitcoin has not changed, highlighting issues such as money laundering and lack of clarity regarding ownership, in addition to its uses in "sex trafficking and terrorism".

He added: "I don't think you should smoke, but I defend your right to smoke, and I also defend your right to buy Bitcoin".

During the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, "Dimon" stated that Bitcoin does nothing and provides no real value, saying: "This is the last time I will talk about it".
