Ripple has officially launched its Ripple Payments service in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), utilizing both the cryptocurrency XRP and the stablecoin RLUSD. The company has partnered with Zand Bank and fintech platform Mamo, the first two clients since Ripple received a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) in March 2025.
The application of blockchain technology in international payments promises to bring benefits in terms of fees and transaction times. This expansion not only helps Ripple strengthen its market position but also contributes to the development of the digital finance sector in the region.
