Community Illusion: You think you're in the group, but you're just a pawn
The community of cryptocurrency projects often gives people the illusion of a 'sense of belonging.' Everyone shouts slogans together, changes profile pictures, pulls people into the group, and rushes to buy the dip, as if they are brothers, as if they are on a mission. But do you really think you are part of the team?
The truth is that most communities are just 'emotional trading tools' for the project team. The higher the enthusiasm, the easier it is to cut retail investors. In the early stages, you are an 'early believer,' during the mid-stage consolidation, you become a 'watcher,' but once the crash comes, you become a 'silent bag holder.'
You think the community can provide information, but the information has long been consumed by the traders and insiders; you think your group friends will share valuable insights, but everyone is just waiting for someone else to foot the bill. Ironically, the busier the group is, the more the project team may want to run away.
Real players never treat the community as a place of faith. They look at the structure, the direction, and the emotions, rather than being led by a bunch of 'all in' slogans.
Don't forget: communities can provide companionship, but they cannot provide the truth. You need to learn to make independent judgments, rather than being harvested in an illusion.
