Here are some of my personal insights on investment trading:
First, and most importantly: in investment trading, one must adhere to the principle of taking profits when they are available and securing gains. However, this seemingly simple principle is difficult for most people to practice. In fact, knowing when to sell is even more important than knowing when to buy, after all, only by truly putting profits in your pocket can you say you have made money.
Second: if your investment returns exceed 20%, do not just be happy; take the time to calmly review and find the reasons behind the profit growth. Only by understanding the situation can you avoid blind confidence and falling into unknown risks.
Third: when facing market situations that are unclear and trends that are ambiguous, do not make arbitrary moves. You must eliminate unrealistic lucky thoughts and avoid the delusion that you can profit from risks through luck; stable operations are the long-term strategy.
Fourth: when stocks are at a high and there is increased volume, do not blindly follow in; similarly, if the stock price has dropped by more than half, do not easily enter the market. Investments require calmness; do not act impulsively out of envy for others making money.
Fifth: during weak market conditions, consider accumulating shares at lower levels; however, when the market is strong and retraces, treat it with caution and do not blindly chase highs. Adjust your strategy flexibly based on the actual market situation.
Sixth: from the perspective of investment cycles and risks, it is best not to easily participate in weekly level retracement markets. Because weekly level retracements usually mean greater market volatility and higher risks, ordinary investors find it difficult to accurately grasp the opportunities within.
Good market conditions bring many opportunities, and poor conditions also offer chances!
