Hello everyone, I'm Paul. Welcome to Paul's unique discussion. If you find Paul's views helpful, please follow me for continuous output of blockchain technology insights!
1. What is alpha?
Speaking of the term alpha, Paul is quite familiar with it, as he worked for a major company before entering the circle, so he is well-acquainted with the term.
In the software development phase, the alpha version is generally used to indicate whether this version is in the early development stage or needs testing. It is mainly used to verify whether the basic framework and development direction are correct, focusing on whether the software can operate normally and whether the main logic is correct.
So now, does the alpha platform on Binance mean the same thing? Let's compare:
Let users experience projects in their early stages. We all know that some projects offer versions for users to experience functions early on, such as zkSync providing Alpha Testnet before the airdrop. This, to some extent, greatly assists in the cold start of the project, especially since Binance has a large user base. To some extent, we also act as testers for the project, so a little airdrop isn't too much to ask.
Launch some quality projects, providing them with opportunities to go live, which not only brings user experience ecology but also liquidity.
Users can experience the ecology and provide liquidity to obtain airdrops.
2. Version iteration
2.1 alpha0.1 version
This version is more about encouraging everyone to use web3 wallets, so I call it version 0.1. This version allows more people to participate, so the requirements for users are not high.

2.2 alpha0.2 version
This version adds a requirement on top of version 0.1, but the requirement is relatively low, allowing participation with just $100.

2.2 alpha0.3 version
This version adds a requirement on top of version 0.2, slowly introducing trading, but at this point, only trading alpha tokens is required. There aren't many quantity restrictions compared to before.

2.2 alpha1.0 version
This version is the one we are currently familiar with - points battle version.

Now let's discuss the details of this points battle version:
Points are based on a 15-day cycle, so our total points are the sum of points accumulated over these 15 days. This is interesting because if you don't brush today, you could fall behind a level and lose the chance for the next airdrop, needing to wait for the cycle to get your score back up. This means users need to participate in brushing points every day.
How are points composed? Currently, points are obtained by adding your balance and your trading volume together to get your points for today.
Currently, airdrops need to be claimed by users, which also requires the deduction of points. Generally, it is around 15 points. If you want to increase your points after claiming an airdrop today, you need to brush up to 32768 in trading volume, but currently, the best trading tier is at 16384, which has less wear and tear.
BSC has a double trading volume bonus. Our currently anchored tier is 16384, so we only need to reach a trading volume of 8200. To some extent, this saves wear and tear for everyone.
3. Personal thoughts
I see many people in the group posting about making money while brushing alpha, thinking about buying low and selling high. Paul wants to remind you, why is this version called alpha? It indicates that liquidity and other factors cannot be very stable, so do not let immediate profits blind you. Why are we here? We are here to earn points, not to trade. If you want to trade, go to the platform where liquidity is better.
Here are some personal opinions from Paul:
Where to find the official alpha interpretation: Open your Binance app -> Click on the Binance logo in the upper left corner -> More services -> Consultation -> Alpha activities.
Currently, the official has launched four trading competitions for tokens: #B2 #myx #zkj #AIOT While we are earning points, we can also check the current trading volume thresholds to see if we can obtain rewards.
Before brushing, we need to look at the depth of the cryptocurrency and whether the liquidity is good. If you see this cryptocurrency is dropping, it is not advisable to brush it. After all, we have four options, and not all of them will be dropping, right?
The biggest problem with BSC is that there are many traps. Although the official has also opened MEV protection, in order to stabilize our assets, it is advisable not to brush with large amounts. We can choose to brush with $500 even if it means more times. Currently, Paul's tests show that brushing the 16384 tier with $500 results in wear and tear of 4-5 USDT. Let's assume one airdrop every 15 days, that is 60 USDT. Currently, all points introduced are profitable, so don't be afraid.
The recommended key brushing time points are from 8 AM to 9 AM and from 9 PM to 10 PM, because there are more people during these times and the liquidity is relatively high. Why? Because many people are not full-time brushing alpha; they can only complete their daily trading volume tasks during early mornings or breaks after work.
