Russian Central Bank Calls Bitcoin the Best Asset Class of the Year
In the report, the Russian central bank recorded the performance of Bitcoin (BTC) of all assets over the past 12 months. As a result, the world's largest crypto asset recorded a positive growth of up to 38%.
Furthermore, this makes Bitcoin successfully beat traditional investment assets, such as gold and stocks. In fact, in April 2025, these digital assets greened over all assets up to 11.2%.
It is known, in the report, the analysis noted, since 2022, Bitcoin's performance has increased to 121,3%. However, there are times when Bitcoin has turned red for 18.6% since the first quarter in 2025.
For information, during the month of May, Bitcoin recorded a spike of around 10%, according to Coinglass data. So, currently the asset is traded at the level of US$103 thousand.
