Trading is really one of the simplest things. When there is no market movement, focus on learning and improving your trading skills and knowledge, spend time with family, and enjoy life. When the market presents opportunities, seize a few waves. There are always several market movements within a month; you just need to catch one or two.
Compared to traditional web2, web3 is also a place where ordinary people can easily make money and turn their lives around. If you, like me, have no background or capital, you should be grateful to have access to web3. In today's web2 environment, you should know that if you are not exceptionally talented or do not have a strong background, it is almost impossible to make significant money. Apart from the meager salary from your job, what else can you do? Web3 is different; it entirely depends on yourself. The compounding effect of time is unimaginable. As long as you seriously learn trading techniques and manage your positions well, without thinking about getting rich overnight, relying on the compounding effect of time, you will eventually become wealthy. If you can't make money in web3, you can imagine how much harder it will be to make money in web2.
However, most people know that most who enter the web3 industry do not make money, and many have squandered their wealth, with some even taking on loans and going bankrupt. It's not that they are foolish or unwilling to learn, but rather they cannot control the greed of human nature, always thinking about getting rich overnight, always believing they are the lucky ones. In reality, the opposite is true; not everyone will be favored by luck. If you occasionally hear about someone getting rich overnight, just listen; those are rare cases. The vast majority of people, even if you can make a large sum daily for a few days, weeks, or months, this behavior will eventually lead to all your previous efforts being returned, resulting in total loss.
I have always believed in the saying 'be friends with time', so in all my operations, I strictly control my positions. No single position exceeds 5% of my total position, and the daily drawdown does not exceed 5% of my total assets, along with strict profit-taking and stop-loss strategies. I believe that even if the monthly compounding is very small, one day in the future I will surpass most of my peers in web2.
So please believe this saying: 'be friends with time', reduce your desires, and this will be your first step to success.
