The first doctor-free clinic in the world has opened in Saudi Arabia — replaced by AI, — Bloomberg
Patients describe symptoms to the virtual "Doctor Hua" on a tablet, who clarifies details and prescribes treatment. X-rays and emergency assistance are provided by staff.
The accuracy of the AI is 99.97%, however, it currently works with 30 mild illnesses.
At the same time, senior consultant at the National University Hospital of Singapore, Ngiam Kiyuan, said:
💬 "We are aware of numerous attempts to create sufficiently qualified AI doctors that could communicate directly with patients, but even the best of them do not function at the level of a family doctor".
