The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into game development is a growing trend in 2025, with crypto and non-fungible token companies leveraging it to automate tasks, create dynamic content, and enhance player experiences. Doodles, the digital asset incubation studio and the team behind the Doodles non-fungible token collection, is the latest company to integrate AI to create a social artificial intelligence mini game.
Doodles Launches Social AI Mini-Game
In a May 17 blog post, Doodles confirmed launching their long-awaited social AI mini-game, Lord of the Files. It’s weird. It’s chaotic. It’s genius. Doodles is the team behind Doodles, a non-fungible token collection from the digital artist Burnt Toast, featuring a fixed set of 10,000 cartoon characters hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. Doodles NFT team is also the brainchild behind the recently launched ‘$DOOD’ meme coin.

The Doodles NFT team has created their Lord of the Files AI mini out of Databodata, the fourth largest data processing firm in Dullsville, a hyper-ordered town where imagination is suppressed by the Dream Pump Industries. In this game, a leak of inter-dimensional ooze happened in the office three days ago, giving staff access to the internet of an entirely different universe. Chaos quickly followed: office routines collapsed, factions emerged, department managers multiplied, and the printers ran dry.
Now, in this ruthless new workplace, the tribes of Databodata survive by scavenging for posts, memes, and videos of people arguing at Denny’s – anything to satisfy their leaders’ endless appetite for content. To join this game, players must mint an employee pass. Each employee can have up to 10 employee passes, which serve as their lives in the office. Once the minting process is complete, the ‘Lord of the Files’ players discover which Department Manager they have been assigned to serve.
What Is The Task?
The Lord of the Files AI mini-game gives players a task to keep their department managers happy; by searching for content, they love and tag them as tribute on X. Each day, one player from each department must choose, save themselves by sacrificing teammates, or sacrifice themselves to keep their department strong. To maximise their tributes to the manager, players must avoid becoming the victim of a teammate’s choice.
Doodles is not the first NFT company to launch this type of game. Previously, several NFT companies have ventured into AI mini-games, integrating blockchain technology with artificial intelligence. Some notable examples include GameGPT, which launched a Genesis AI NFT collection. GameGPT is known for its AI-powered game creation platform, allowing users to generate fully functional games from prompts, and has also introduced AI Agent NFTs.
