It was the year 1947 when an extraordinary message was received in the Strait of Malacca, located between Indonesia and Malaysia. The message was coming from a ship named SS Orang Medan. The radio signal only conveyed the following: "We are all dead, the captain is dead, everyone is dead, perhaps I am also going to die." And then silence fell.

Nearby was an American ship named Silver Star. They immediately acted on this message and set out to search for Orang Medan. Soon they spotted the ship, completely silent, standing still on the water. When the rescue team boarded it, they were shocked by the scene before them.

Bodies were scattered everywhere. Everyone was dead, even the radio operator was dead. But all their faces bore signs of terror. Eyes wide open, mouths agape as if trying to scream at something unspeakable in their last moments. Some bodies appeared as though an unseen force had gathered them together. No wounds, no struggle, nothing—just terrified corpses visible everywhere.

When the rescue team prepared to take the ship back, suddenly a fire broke out. A loud explosion occurred and Orang Medan sank completely into the sea as if it had never existed.

This incident remains one of the unsolved mysteries of maritime history.
