Two years of romance led to over 200 million in scams. The victim, 'Big Peach', is a relatively successful figure in the cryptocurrency circle, involved in investments, buying Ferraris, and luxury cars without batting an eye! But he never imagined he would be completely bankrupted by a 'White Rabbit'. The female lead 'White Rabbit' entered the scene with a sweet selfie, using a composite persona of 'domestic violence + assault + depression + rich beauty + billion-level connections' to gain his trust, and then with the so-called 'partner Q Sister', 'lawyer Xu Lv', 'big brother background', and 'mysterious person Xiao Ji' taking turns, fabricated a series of police cases in Shanxi, Shandong, Xi'an, Nantong, Nanjing involving frozen funds and tax audits.

In this so-called 'high-end scheme', Big Peach transferred money over 60 times, accumulating over 200 million, even including a transfer of 22 million under the pretext of 'just a bit more to unfreeze the funds' after one meeting. The most absurd part is that when White Rabbit accompanied him to report the case, she successfully deceived the police, lawyers, friends, and even herself. It wasn't until after the police investigation confirmed that White Rabbit was the core mastermind all along.

All content in this article is provided by Big Peach's own account and informed individuals; authenticity is for everyone to judge, and does not represent the views of this Golden Monkey.

1️⃣ Event timeline

At the beginning of 2021: The male lead met 'White Rabbit' in a group, who claimed to be in the oil, Moutai, and duty-free car business, with a net worth exceeding one billion, and a social circle with extensive resources.

Mid-2021: White Rabbit launched a romantic offensive, claiming to have experienced domestic violence, assault, and mental illness, portraying the male lead as 'the only support', and the two confirmed an online relationship.

In mid-2022: White Rabbit introduced Q Sister, inviting the male lead to invest in a petrochemical project, promising a 10% monthly return, with the first transfer of 10 million kicking off the snowball effect of funding.

At the end of 2022: White Rabbit claimed that due to the mask project, her account was frozen and she was caught up in the 'Shanxi case'. Q Sister and Xu Lv came in to apply pressure, saying that if money wasn't transferred, the male lead would go to jail, forcing him to transfer 8 million.

January 2023: The first meeting was at Disney, but the other party turned out to be a middle-aged woman, causing the male lead to break down, but he was emotionally manipulated into 'fearing she would commit suicide', enduring to continue the relationship.

In the first half of 2023: Multiple rounds of 'tax audits + criminal cases' scripts were staged in succession, with the male lead's total transfers exceeding 50 million.

In the second half of 2023: Police in multiple locations began calling the male lead; White Rabbit said, 'You slipped up,' and needed to deal with the public security and judicial systems in Shanxi, Shandong, and Xi'an, prompting the male lead to again fork out 30 million.

In May 2024: White Rabbit claimed to have been arrested and needed 600,000 to get out; hours later she was 'released', continuing to demand transfers.

By July 2024: The victim, at the end of their rope, sold their car, finally sensed something was wrong, and discovered potential infighting between White Rabbit and Q Sister, leading to the police report.

In September 2024: The police arrested Q Sister and three others, while White Rabbit accompanied them to report but was not controlled; later the police confirmed that White Rabbit was also one of the main criminals but she continued to operate her Douyin persona to promote products.

2️⃣ Character relationships

Big Peach: The male lead. A cryptocurrency investor with ample funds and a lavish spending style, believing he is experiencing a delayed romance, but in reality, he has been ensnared in a meticulously crafted script with complete roles, claiming to have been scammed over 200 million!

White Rabbit: The female lead, self-proclaimed post-90s rich beauty, is actually one of the operators. She simultaneously plays the roles of lover, tragic victim, and deceived female entrepreneur, being the core bait and controller.

Q Sister: White Rabbit's 'business partner', responsible for performing and endorsing externally, proposing new projects, and helping to create a panic atmosphere, being a primary implementer of the verbal tactics.

Xiao Ji: A hidden role in the gang, with a background set as 'a certain country's embassy personnel'; appears infrequently but has an exaggerated character setup, mostly used for intimidation in the final stages.

Ding: The fake creditor plays a strong-arming role, pressuring the male lead to expedite payment through threats.

Xu Lv: A fake lawyer who writes false legal documents, creating the illusion of 'immediate case filing'.

Xiao Qiao: The red-faced character in the gang, responsible for comforting, delaying, and creating turning points.

Yang: The police have identified the actual operator behind the scenes, possibly a relative or boyfriend of White Rabbit, controlling the flow of funds and company registration.

3️⃣ Controversy focal points

Flow of funds and freezing records:

The victim has provided the police with detailed bank statements, showing that since 202X, they have transferred over a million to multiple accounts. Some account names involve a tech company and individuals like Yang. The police promptly froze one of the key accounts based on the report, with a frozen amount of about several hundred thousand RMB (according to the victim's account). This freezing action has been confirmed by police insiders and is part of regular loss prevention procedures. Since the case has not been adjudicated, specific frozen amounts and account information have not been disclosed. However, based on experiences from other cases, the police revealed that similar scams have involved total amounts exceeding 1 billion (this includes statistics from multiple cases), highlighting the enormous amount involved in this case. Controversy: Some netizens question why the victim repeatedly wired large sums without reporting to the police. The victim explains that the scam gang continually created false appearances and intimidated them, threatening 'do not report, or it will be worse', only awakening to report when they felt they had no other options.

Chat records and voice:

The victim preserved hundreds of pages of WeChat chat records with 'White Rabbit' and her accomplices, clearly showing the processes of sweet chats, loan requests, threats, and intimidation. In one voice recording, 'Ding Wei' claims to have 'powerful connections', warning the victim to quickly gather funds. These records have been submitted to the police as evidence. Some excerpts were shown to the media with the victim's consent: like a WeChat message where White Rabbit cried out, 'If it weren't for loving you, I would have collapsed long ago. Can you really bear to see me killed by Brother Ding?' and a voice message from Ding Wei saying, 'XX (victim's name), don't be ungrateful; paying back debts is a basic principle.' Controversy: Some believe these dialogues may show clear signs of being scripted, but it's difficult for the involved parties to discern while in a romantic state of mind. Experts point out that under emotional manipulation, the victim's judgment declines, and they should be trained to recognize such keywords (like repeatedly mentioning money but refusing video calls, which should raise alarms).

Identity documents and contracts:

The scam gang had previously shown the victim so-called investment contracts, IOUs, and other documents, even including agreements signed by White Rabbit and 'partners', which contained White Rabbit's real name and ID number (later proved to be forged or someone else's). There were also screenshots of lawyer letters sent by 'Xu Lv', seemingly stamped with a law firm's seal. Upon investigation, this law firm does not exist, and the official seal was also a pieced-together forgery. Evidence: The contract provided by the victim had a business registration number, but upon inquiry, there was no corresponding legally registered company, suspected to be fabricated. The police investigation department stated that these false contracts often have obvious loopholes, such as no traceable record and unprofessional wording, and were quickly identified as false evidence after filing a police report.

Controversy: Why didn't the victim verify the authenticity of the contract earlier? She responded that she was completely blinded by her feelings for White Rabbit at the time, and with people like Q Sister confirming the contract's reliability, it led her to relax her necessary caution.

Other victim testimonies:

Currently, at least two other victims have anonymously shared their experiences of being scammed online, with stories highly similar to this case: both involved a woman claiming to be the daughter of a high-ranking official or a wealthy second-generation, later featuring characters like 'elders' or 'brothers' demanding debts. They also provided descriptions of White Rabbit's physical features, which matched closely (it is said that White Rabbit has a distinct beauty mark). These testimonies have sparked discussion among netizens. The police have not officially confirmed if they belong to the same scam gang, but the patterns are identical, and it cannot be ruled out that they are from the same group of criminals.

Controversy: Online testimonies must be wary of authenticity, but multiple corroborating accounts increase credibility. Some netizens urge that clues be provided to the police for unified verification to facilitate inter-case investigations.

Media reports and authoritative information:

As of the report's release, no authoritative notification from the public security agency regarding this case has been retrieved, and mainstream media has not publicly reported directly naming 'White Rabbit', 'Q Sister', etc. (possibly for confidentiality in the investigation).

4️⃣ Event restoration

Restoring the scam model: This case belongs to a typical 'emotional deception + serial intimidation' hybrid scam, with the specific tactics as follows:

(1) Sweet period – Emotional manipulation:

The scammer first approaches the victim through social platforms, usually posting attractive photos or videos on Douyin, Weibo, etc., to attract targets. After establishing contact, the scammer invests a lot of time nurturing feelings, checking in daily, and quickly confirming a romantic relationship with the victim. At this stage, the victim is immersed in 'romantic love', and their psychological defenses are fully relaxed. As the police summarize, the scammer will package themselves according to the victim's ideal partner. In this case, 'White Rabbit' plays the role of a gentle and devoted yet troubled lover, creating a desire in the victim to protect and give.

(2) Digging a pit – Setting a trap to defraud:

Once emotional bonds are formed, the scammer concocts various reasons for the victim to 'voluntarily' part with money, such as medical expenses, debt repayment, or investment, etc. They often proceed step by step, first winning the victim's trust with small favors or small investment returns, then inducing the victim to continuously increase their investment. When the victim starts to have doubts, other members of the gang (like Q Sister, Xiao Ji) quickly appear to prove the 'authenticity' of these reasons, using collusion and acting to dispel the victim's concerns. In this case, the victim made multiple transfers amounting to a huge total, yet never saw the so-called investment returns. Some segments, like 'White Rabbit having leukemia' and 'brother can help mobilize work', are typical scam narratives. The victim, deeply entangled, missed multiple opportunities to see through the plot.

(3) Turning against – Serial intimidation:

Once a certain amount of money is scammed, or when the victim's funds are exhausted and refuse to pay, the scam shifts from 'affection' to 'terror'. This case shows an escalating pattern of serial intimidation: first, 'Ding Wei' threatens with violence or social connections; then 'Xu Lv' intimidates using legal means; even a seemingly strong character like 'Big Ocean' is brought in to apply pressure, with everyone taking turns to leave no room for respite. This kind of psychological bombardment leaves the victim in a panic, fearing for their life or reputation if they don’t comply, forcing them to continue paying. This stage is essentially about squeezing the last bit of money out. Compared to historical cases, in the Zhai Xinxin incident, the perpetrator also continuously threatened to report the victim after marriage to extort large sums of money, ultimately leading to Su Xiangmao's despair and suicide. It can be seen that once emotional fraud is compounded with intimidation, the victim's psychological defenses can easily collapse, leading to tragedy.

(4) Wrapping up – Disappearing into thin air:

Scam gangs typically wrap things up quickly when they feel there's no profit left to squeeze or if they are exposed. They will collectively go silent: White Rabbit disappears and blocks, and other roles also stop appearing. According to the victim, when she reported the case and tried to contact White Rabbit, she found that all of the other party's social accounts were closed and silent, clearly having fled. This is consistent with most pig-butchering scam endings—scammers run off with the money, leaving the victims to wake up from the dream. Notably, this gang appears to have domestic members, and the police acted quickly to freeze some funds, increasing the chances of recovering losses. However, most of the money may have already been squandered or transferred abroad.

5️⃣ Dynamics of all parties

Big Peach:

Melon owner Dayao seems to have found the key to traffic, registering accounts on Douyin and video channels to narrate the events, and after editing, currently has over ten million likes and shares.

White Rabbit's Douyin account:

According to netizen reports, 'White Rabbit' is suspected of continuing to post short videos using the Douyin account *'Rabbit**'. Although she did not respond directly after the case was exposed, the video content primarily consists of daily beauty and food sharing, attempting to maintain consistency with her previous persona. A netizen posted a video pointing out: 'Those who have been scammed, look here, is this your Weibo girlfriend Wang Xinyao, a person from Ezhou, Hubei, working in Guangzhou?' suggesting that White Rabbit's real identity may be Wang Xiaoyao and that she is active on Douyin and Weibo. This exposure video received widespread sharing, indicating that people have begun identifying similar scams on Douyin. White Rabbit herself closed the video comments function for a period after the incident, seemingly to avoid public scrutiny.

Q Sister's updates:

Q Sister is suspected of operating a lifestyle Douyin account, selling clothing and health products. After the victim spoke out, some discovered that the account had previously uploaded shorts with the same scenes as White Rabbit (such as the same mall and restaurant), raising suspicions of collusion. Some screenshots circulated online showing comments on Q Sister's account questioning 'is this a scam gang?', which were subsequently deleted. As of now, Q Sister has not publicly responded to any accusations. The account continues to update with daily family life, pretending to be unrelated to the case.

Other members:

Xiao Ji, Ding Wei, and others have very few traces on public social media. They may be using false identities exclusively for criminal activities, rarely appearing with real accounts on public platforms. For example, 'Ding Wei' and 'Xu Lv' may only exist in WeChat or phone communications, with no corresponding accounts on Douyin. There are rumors that Xiao Ji was previously active in the Weibo ACG community but was banned for disseminating inappropriate content—this could confuse the case of Xiao Ji with a web celebrity named 'Exploding Machine Girl Meow Xiao Ji' (the latter was sentenced for illegal profit from cosplay photos). Currently, there is no evidence proving they are the same person. After the incident, Xiao Ji and others largely went silent to avoid online exposure.

6️⃣ Golden Monkey's viewpoint

This scheme started with emotions, penetrated through trust, and ultimately became a meticulously crafted scam so refined that it left no room for breath. White Rabbit's acting was very convincing, Q Sister's pacing was steady, and the people in the gang each played their roles clearly, as if they had been trained. One person's scam might be bad luck, but to scam someone to the point of bankruptcy shows that the entire narrative structure has evolved to an industrial level.

But what truly complicates this matter is not the scam itself, but that the storytellers have also begun to master the art of storytelling.

It's a good thing that Big Peach has come forward as a victim. Looking closer, the newly opened Douyin and video accounts are synchronizing content, even matching the series numbers. To say that no one is assisting in the operation behind this would be to underestimate the sense of traffic.

Of course, the victim has the right to tell their story. But when a person is both a victim and a storyteller, and may even be the main orchestrator of this dissemination event, then many things are not as simple as just being 'victimized'.

He is fighting against a scam while creating another version of the truth. We do not judge motives, only record this fact: in today's internet, even being a victim can be packaged, branded, and sold. Whoever controls the narrative may control attention; whoever can continuously update emotions may continue to guide traffic.

In this scheme, the scammers used a script while Big Peach used editing. The former harvests money, the latter collects attention. You think the melon is finished, but in fact, the next script is already in testing.

The Golden Monkey does not jump to conclusions. Just a reminder:

The storyteller may also have their own script.
