In a normal downtrend, prices operate between the middle band and the lower band. During the downward movement, prices may touch the lower band multiple times or even break below it, but this is merely an oversold behavior. The occurrence of overbought and oversold phenomena in a one-sided market indicates that the trend will continue, so don't think about buying just because the price breaks below the lower band. A break below the lower band may also just be a pullback during the decline. If investors enter the market to buy in a one-sided downtrend, they are likely to be deeply trapped.
