President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky:
"I spoke with President of the United States Donald Trump together with President Macron, Federal Chancellor Merz, Prime Ministers Starmer and Tusk. We discussed a meeting in Istanbul.
Ukraine is ready for the fastest possible steps towards a real peace, and it is important that the peace remains on strong positions.
Our position: if the Russians refuse to implement a complete and unconditional ceasefire and stop the killings — there should be tough sanctions. Pressure on Russia must continue until it is ready to end the war. I thank everyone in the world who is helping."
