Eric Trump: "The world is trying to hoard Bitcoin now"
Eric Trump, the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, stated that there is a global race to hoard Bitcoin, pointing out that sovereign wealth funds, wealthy families, and major corporations around the world are trying to accumulate as much of the leading digital currency as possible.
Eric Trump, the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, said that there is currently an ongoing global race to hoard Bitcoin. In a speech delivered during a cryptocurrency conference in Toronto on May 15, Trump stated: "From families to sovereign funds, everyone in the world is trying to hoard Bitcoin right now."
These remarks came during a discussion session at the "Consensus 2025" conference, where he shared the platform with Asher Genoot, CEO of the mining company "Hut 8." Trump added that the adoption of Bitcoin around the world is "unbelievable."
He continued, saying: "I travel a lot. I constantly fly, and I hear from everyone around the world that they are trying to hoard Bitcoin. I hear that from sovereign funds, from the wealthiest families, and from the largest companies."
