THE REAL APPLICATION OF A HUNTER AND A GARDENER

The work of a hunter is to search in the bushes and forests for available food (meat). He sets traps, chases and shoots whenever he gets the opportunity to do so. He kills and consumes. The day he is not lucky enough to get any game, that day's meal is in jeopardy.

Now let's look at the gardener,

He doesn't consume his seed, unlike the hunter. He prepares his seeds and plants them. He nurtures it, grooms it, waters it, and removes weeds just for it to grow well and produce. A seed that was planted will bear fruits, vegetables and more seeds in addition. The hunter kills as his method of survival, and the gardener gives life as his method of survival. One may run out, the other may not.

The hunter has a consumer mindset. The gardener has a producer mindset. The hunter has no safety net when he misses his catch for a particular day; on the other hand, the gardener has a safety net, as more products are being produced.

The question is, be sincere with yourself, are you a hunter or a gardener?

What will you do to improve either way?
