$ETH Maximum Priority Fee: Often referred to as miner tips, this is an optional additional fee determined by the user, directly paid to miners to incentivize them to include the transaction in a block. Currently, most network participants estimate that a tip of at least 2.0 GWEI is generally required for a transaction to be included. Under normal network conditions, the maximum priority fee for a 'typical' transaction is close to 2.0 GWEI, and higher fees may be needed during network congestion or when a transaction needs to be processed urgently.

• Maximum Fee Per Gas: This is the highest absolute amount the user is willing to pay for each unit of Gas to ensure the transaction is included in a block. The calculation is as follows: Maximum Fee = (2 * Base Fee) + Maximum Priority Fee. This setting allows transactions to remain eligible for inclusion within six consecutive 100% complete blocks.

The actual transaction fee is determined by the base fee at the time of confirmation plus the maximum priority fee. For example, if the transaction is confirmed in the 4th interval, and the base fee at that time is 142.2 GWEI, with the user's set maximum priority fee of 2.0 GWEI, then the transaction fee would be 144.2 GWEI/Gas. If the base fee plus the maximum priority fee exceeds the maximum fee, the maximum priority fee will be reduced to meet the maximum fee cap.
