💳 Mastercard and MoonPay Launch Global Cards for Payments with Stablecoins

On May 16, 2025, Mastercard and MoonPay announced the launch of a new initiative that allows the use of stablecoins for everyday purchases. Users will now be able to pay for goods and services using cards linked to their cryptocurrency wallets at more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide that accept Mastercard cards.

Iron Infrastructure: A technology developed by Iron and acquired by MoonPay in March 2024, providing a reliable and scalable infrastructure for processing transactions.

Support for Various Stablecoins: The cards support popular stablecoins, such as USDC and USDT, expanding the use of digital assets in the real economy.
