Foresight News reports that Cow DAO announces that the CoW Protocol will shift from single batch auctions to a new core mechanism called 'Fair Combination Auction (FCA)'. Testing will begin on May 20, 2025, with a full rollout expected around June 3, 2025, across all chains. FCA is a form of auction that allows order matchers to submit multiple solutions, including: individual order bids and bundled bulk bids, enabling the CoW Protocol to evaluate more execution paths. For users, FCA will increase the number of orders completed in each auction, reduce slippage, and enhance MEV resistance; for order matchers, FCA introduces a new reward logic, with expected rewards increasing by approximately 25%.
