In the past, there has always been a saying in the cryptocurrency circle that prolonged sideways movement at high levels must lead to a drop. However, after several instances, institutions have pushed the market up after remaining at relatively high levels. After several repetitions, the consensus has changed to the idea that as long as there is weakness in both declines and rallies, it indicates that the bulls are accumulating strength, preparing for a new high.

This is often directly related to sentiment and news. Reflect on the role that news has played throughout this market phase. At price bottoms and relative lows, there were various negative news reports that instilled fear and made you hesitant to enter. Once prices began to rise, whenever they reached a relative high that could not be breached, there would be a flurry of positive news.

Even though institutions and major players understand that the power from retail investors is minimal, they still hope that you will buy in at relatively high levels. Buying in has two advantages for them: 1. It reduces the selling pressure and buying demand they would otherwise have to bear. 2. Perhaps you are buying the shares they are selling to take profits.

The reason for the continuous flow of negative news at the bottom is: 1. They do not want you to acquire shares at prices lower than their entry. 2. They want you to become fuel during the upward process.

I do not comment on the morality of this behavior; I just want to tell you that news is merely a tool. Do not feel that you have misunderstood something every time you miss an opportunity or go against a market trend. In fact, you have not misunderstood; your understanding is what the majority of people think, and this is also what the institutions releasing these news reports hope to see.

The market itself does not generate money. Every penny comes from the liquidation of opposing positions. Why is it the opposing positions that get liquidated and not you? It is what you need to consider where you are stronger than the opposing positions.
