🔒 Security and transparency
• Independent audits: USDC reserves are audited monthly by Deloitte, and the reports are public, providing a high level of transparency.
• Regulation: USDC is considered a “covered stablecoin” by the SEC, meaning it is not classified as a security, as long as it is fully backed and can be redeemed 1:1 for USD.
