On May 2025, the Ethereum Foundation launched the "Trillion Dollar Security Plan" aimed at building a global infrastructure capable of supporting trillions of dollars in assets through a three-phase strategy. The plan includes: 1) Full-stack security assessments, analyzing risk points across 22 technical areas such as smart contracts, consensus protocols, wallets, etc.; 2) Targeted improvements, prioritizing the repair of high-priority vulnerabilities and establishing long-term security enhancement mechanisms; 3) Community security education, establishing a transparent security standards comparison system. Led by protocol security heads Fredrik Svantes and Josh Stark, along with security experts like Samczsun forming an executive committee, the plan aims to achieve 360-degree risk control through channels such as bug bounties and ecosystem feedback. This plan marks a strategic upgrade for Ethereum from technical security to "civilization-level infrastructure."
