#BinancePizza

✍"Bitcoin Pizza Day" is celebrated on May 22 each year, commemorating the first commercial transaction using Bitcoin, when programmer Laszlo Hanyecz in 2010 bought two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins, which was then equivalent to about $41. This transaction is considered a milestone in the history of digital currencies, as it demonstrated the potential for using Bitcoin in real-world transactions.

In 2023, the Binance platform organized large-scale celebrations for this occasion, which included in-person events in several countries such as Italy, Bahrain, Brazil, Vietnam, Cambodia, Argentina, and Mexico. An online campaign titled "Collect and Win" was also launched, giving participants the chance to win enough Bitcoin to buy pizza for a year.
