The exchange claims to have suffered the consequences of a social engineering attack in which relatively sensitive data has been stolen.

Cryptocurrencies, like many other services located on the Internet, are not exempt from hacking and cyberattacks. As early as 2022, we saw a brutal crypto scam in Spain, which resulted in the theft of over 200 million dollars in NFTs using a fake email. Something very similar happened shortly before, when 30 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum were stolen from one of the largest websites dedicated to this business. The same has happened with Coinbase, the cryptocurrency trading and storage company that claims to have received a cyberattack against its clients.
