A dialogue scene between a father and his son about cryptocurrencies.
Father: What is this I'm hearing, my son? I heard from your uncle that you started trading something called 'Bitcoin'! Have you lost your mind?!
Son: No, Father, I haven't lost it. On the contrary, I've started using it! Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have become a reality, just like the internet in its early days.
Father: Reality?! What reality is this that you cannot see or touch? 'Electronic money' fluctuates every hour! Sometimes you win, and other times you lose everything. This is gambling, not trade.
Son: I know it sounds strange, but it's not gambling if you understand it well. It is a new financial system based on blockchain technology that ensures transparency and prevents forgery.
Father (sarcastically): Transparency?! And where is the central bank? And where is the guarantee? Who guarantees that you won't lose all your money in an instant?
Son: Just like in stocks or real estate, there are risks. But what distinguishes cryptocurrencies is that control is not in the hands of governments or banks, but it is decentralized. I'm not saying I put everything I have into it, but I deal with it cautiously and knowledgeably.
Father: But people lose their money in it every day, and some have been scammed!
Son: Yes, just like in any other field. Ignorance is the real enemy. Those who enter without understanding or follow rumors are the ones who get deceived. But those who learn, and know when to enter and when to exit, are the ones who benefit.
Father (sighing): Our time is not your time, my son. We were raised to see and count money with our hands. But to have it just as symbols on your phone, this is what I cannot comprehend.
Son (smiling): And I'm not asking you to change your beliefs, just to understand that we are living in a time of rapid change. Just as you accepted ATM cards and online shopping, there will come days when people understand that cryptocurrencies are just a new step in the evolution of money.
Father (silent for a moment): Maybe... but I still see caution as necessary. At least don't risk everything, as technology does not always mean safety.
Son: We agreed, caution is required. But don't reject something just because it's new. I promise to learn more and trade with reason, not emotion.
Father: This is what pleases me, my son. Think, and don't forget that money, once lost, does not easily return.
