Let's share the overall strategy for MapleStory
When the new coin launched, one sector I've always enjoyed is this one. The overall strategy this time is roughly as follows:
1. Actually, I learned about the game MapleStory about 10 days ago. I had previously known there was such a thing and then researched the token model, confirming there are a total of 1 billion tokens, with about 17% in circulation. I don’t really enjoy playing games; I’ve only played MapleStory and Mario Kart before, so MapleStory is a game that was invested in by the official team and has no VC tokens. This should be the most reliable gameFi project supported by blockchain. My initial feeling was to go all in below 0.5;
2. At first, Binance only listed alpha, and I was quite happy. In the 33dao group, I even mentioned it was a chance to take advantage. As a result, today Binance added this to spot trading continuously, so the expectation for a price increase is high to 1. This price is just a random guess because the 1 billion FDV is actually higher than many VCs, just a rough estimate with no other basis;
3. Before the launch, I made a few preparations:
The first was that I tracked the on-chain addresses and found the project team cross-chain transferred 40 million tokens to BSC. Among them, one address distributed 15 million tokens plus 500,000 BUSD. I guessed that this was the liquidity pool address. The normal price for adding liquidity is 0.03 USD, but the scientists on BSC are too aggressive, so I didn’t dare to snipe;
The second was deciding what to use for buying. There are many options for trading on BSC. I imported GMGN into the same wallet and had OK's interface open. At 1:55, I connected with a few friends on a voice call to see how to launch. It was about 1:58 when it launched early. I saw it was only 0.55 and immediately started buying frantically. I kept buying 1.5 from 0.76, averaging 1 USD for 250,000 tokens, then immediately transferred it to Binance. This operation also prevented me from accidentally selling low on-chain because the highest point usually appears on Binance.
4. I sold out at 3 USD on Binance, and I will continue to monitor. The hype is good, and Korea hasn't launched yet, but this new coin launch is completed.
This is purely a strategy share. In the future, when encountering new projects, this is the way to prepare. An important point is to conduct research and set psychological price expectations. Once you determine how much to invest with closed eyes, the rest becomes too simple.
