Crypto Regulation in 2025:
🌍 The world is seeking balance between freedom and control.
🔹 EU (MiCA): Full launch starting in 2024. Exchanges are required to register, comply with AML, and disclose carbon footprint. Spain granted an extension until the end of 2025.
🔹 USA: New SEC head — Paul Atkins, moving towards easing regulations. ETF for ADA, SOL, XRP under consideration. Institutional inflow is anticipated.
🔹 UK: Exchanges are equated with financial companies. Focus is on stablecoins (capitalization of $193 billion in 2024).
🔹 Main trends: tokenization of assets (led by BlackRock), stablecoins in cross-border transactions, increasing tax burden.
⚠️ Risks: unpredictability of rules, mining is banned in several countries, businesses are moving to more favorable jurisdictions.
The main challenge is not to stifle innovation.
