In the fifteen days since I filed seven articles of impeachment against President Trump, he has committed even more impeachable offenses, the most dangerous of which is accepting a private jet worth $400 million from Qatar, which even Republican members of Congress have called wrong.
Therefore, after consulting with many colleagues, I decided not to rush the impeachment vote today. Instead, I will supplement my articles of impeachment and continue to seek support from both Democrats and Republicans to join me in defending the Constitution.
