The Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force has just announced security maintenance for Hong Kong's cryptocurrency asset ecosystem. Mr. Lam Cheuk-ho, the Commissioner of Police, emphasized the importance of sharing responsibility among exchanges, regulators, and law enforcement agencies.
CSTCB has collaborated with the University of Hong Kong to develop a cryptocurrency asset analysis tool called CryptoTrace, aimed at providing advanced intelligence and investigative support for law enforcement agencies. Additionally, the New Territories South Anti-Fraud Team has also been established.
