Seeing the founder of Metamask @danfinlay say they are considering launching a token is quite moving.
Once almost monopolistic, the little fox wallet was a must-have for almost everyone entering the space. During its heyday, there were persistent rumors about launching a token, but it never happened. Now, just as it is about to be overtaken by the OKX wallet, @BinanceWallet, @Rabby_io, and other new generation wallets, they finally consider launching a token.
The problem is that since last year, each update has made it slower and harder to use. I haven't opened the little fox wallet in about a year.
With the resurgence of the OKX wallet and the strong rise of the Binance wallet, metamask continues to self-sabotage. It feels like new entrants to the space will gradually start to ask what this yellow fox head is for?
Just like the new entrants now who used to ask me:
"What is $LTC Litecoin?"
-- "Digital gold, silver for Litecoin," this was my youth.
What other seemingly colossal but now declining and low points do you remember from the crypto world?
