What awaits the DeFi market after massive regulation?
The regulation of DeFi is no longer a matter of "if", but "when". Many countries plan to introduce KYC, licenses, and audits of smart contracts.
What could happen:
A "regulated DeFi" will emerge — decentralization + KYC.
Some users will move to the shadows, towards truly anonymous protocols (Railgun, Secret Network).
Institutions will begin to use DeFi, which will increase TVL and trust.
Hybrid models will appear, with an interface for common users and a separate version with KYC.
The new DeFi will be different, but the core of decentralization will remain. The key will be to adapt.
