#TrumpTariffs The USA and China have agreed to reduce tariffs for 90 days.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that Washington and Beijing will temporarily lower tariffs by 115%
Prior to this, American and Chinese delegations held talks in Switzerland, which Bessent previously described as "productive and constructive."
These consultations between the parties were the first since early April, when U.S. President Donald Trump imposed high tariffs on Chinese imports, and China responded in kind. After several "rounds," tariffs on Chinese goods in the U.S. reached 145%, while Beijing imposed a 125% tariff.
