#TrumpTariffs I have voted yes on #LUNC governance proposal #12180. This proposal is a repeat proposal for funding a community owned #LUNC/#USDC trading pool on Terraport, which I voted in support of before. The last proposal was narrowly rejected through the use of the veto threshold by a few validators. Terraport fulfils the requirements of the liquidity funding proposal #12171, of which I became a multi-sig member. They are audited, have team KYC, and will have a special V3 low fee pool which will help contribute to #LUNC burns and funding to the chain. Expecting that Terraport should have completely refunded everyone after they were hacked by Lazarus (North Korea), and generate from thin air $4 million dollars in stolen funds in a bear market is completely unreasonable, and I see it as a type of victim blaming. Making this a pre-condition of liquidity support whilealso supporting #12171, is in my view a contradictory position. Terraport has and is paying compensation to hack victims, and more importantly, the #LUNC/#USDC pool to be created will be under complete #LUNC governance control, not Terraport's. The #LUNC community can pull the liquidity at anytime by a governance vote. I support useful utility on chain and we should support initiatives that help to burn #LUNC and fund the community pool and oracle pool. This #LUNC and #USDC pool would I believe be a valuable addition to the chain, so I am in support.
