"Bitcoin and Pak Slamet's Coffee Stall"

In a village, there lived Pak Slamet, the owner of a legendary coffee stall. One day, his grandson, Budi, came with burning enthusiasm.

Budi:

“Sir, it’s no longer the time to pay with paper money. Use Bitcoin!”

Pak Slamet:

“What’s a Bit? What kind of coin is that? A metal coin for playing suits?”

Budi then explained at length while opening his phone, showing a graph that fluctuated more dramatically than a soap opera.

Budi:

“Here, Sir! The value can rise by 30% in a day! But it can also plummet like the price of chilies during the harvest season.”

Pak Slamet began to get interested.

Pak Slamet:

“If that’s the case, I’ll sell one black coffee for 0.000002 BTC!”

On the first day:

One coffee = 0.000002 BTC = Rp 100 thousand.

On the second day, the price of BTC rose:

One coffee = Rp 150 thousand.

On the third day, BTC plummeted:

One coffee = Rp 25 thousand + a bonus of fried snacks.

Customers started to get confused, some cursed, some regretted not buying yesterday. Pak Slamet's stall went viral, dubbed: “High Volatility Coffee Stall.”

Eventually, Pak Slamet gave up.

Pak Slamet:

“Enough, Bud… I just want to sell coffee, not run a roller coaster!”

Budi:

“But Sir, NFT coffee can sell too…”

Pak Slamet:

“Bud, you’re making me dizzy. Just make NFTs = Rice, Fritters, and Tea instead!”
